I had appliad for a busary from the department of education since from 2009,when I was still at school and I had re-appliad in2010 even in this year still these no reply from the departmentm.I am currently at the university of kwazulu natal (Edgewood campas)I don’t have financial aid at this moment,I a m inneed of it also my single parent won’t afford to pay my fees.please help me.

      you must call someone at the department of education to find out what the status is on your case. I do not know what department of education you speak of – US? You must be more specific.

      make an appointment with a college in your area which you are interested in attending to discuss your options and to assess your situation. Contact your state/province department of education for assistance too.

      start applying to as many bursaries online as possible – they are the easiest to apply to. Go to your government website and search ‘bursaries’. If you have question on something – call them about it. APPLY TO YOUR GOVERNMENT BURSARY PROGRAMS FIRSTLY!!! Ask them for advice for the country where you live about student financial aid. Go to your college/university and talk to someone in the FinAids department about student aid you can apply for NOW!

I have tried to apply for a government bursary but they are busy telling me that they don’t give out bursaries for second year students. So i don’t know what to do,can somebody help me

      you must apply to bursaries to see if you qualify for them. Go directly to the bursary sponsors website to apply. We do not offer direct bursary programs but write about those who do. I recommend that you talk with the FinAids manager at the college you attend to see what specific student aid programs you may be eligible for. Look into YOUR government bursary programs.

      we do not offer bursaries but only write about them so students can discover them and apply to them. You must apply directly via the bursary sponsors website to see if you qualify for it.

      bursaries are need based so you should apply to as many as you seem to fit their criteria; especially your government bursary programs.

      first look into your own government provided bursaries (via your government website). Next sit down with a FinAids specialist at a college to discuss all the student aid you may be eligible to apply to. Next, look online to programs which you can submit an application right over the internet to their website. This is a quick way to apply and you can apply to more of them this way.

      since you’re already at TUT I would make an appointment with the financial aids manager to discuss your student aid options and what bursary programs you can apply to. New bursary programs come into all colleges each and every month and there may one which can qualify for.

I need to know when will we receive it because it almost May now and I am really struggling, I do not have text books and they are really expensive which makes it hard for me to study.
